Abstract
This chapter is on how to define guidelines for problem solving in requirements modeling languages . Guidelines recommend how to do something in problem solving so as to move closer to a solution. The chapter focuses on the following questions. 1. How to find guidelines for problem solving and embed them in requirements modeling languages (Sect. 8.2). 2. How to combine guidelines into new, more complicated ones (Sect. 8.3). 3. How to strengthen or weaken guidelines and why (Sect. 8.4).
