Abstract

This paper presents a study about the distorted regime introduced into the power system by the functioning of nonlinear loads. Using a data acquisition system, the voltage and current signals from the point of common coupling were acquired in order to be processed for designing the harmonic compensation devices. In the following, a soft application for active filtering the distorted signals is described.
