Abstract

This paper analyzes the mechanism of the magnetic liquid raising around two parallel, vertical, straight conductors with a current flow compared with the mechanism of the magnetic liquid raising around a vertical conductor with a current flow. A FEM modeling was made in order to establish the magnetic field inside the magnetic fluid and, using these values in Matlab, the forces that act in a magnetic liquid were computed. The magnetic liquid will be considered as a linear and non-conducting medium placed in a stationary field.
