Abstract
While the CSM was being assembled and tested in the MSOB high bay, the mission’s LM was also being processed. This chapter describes the LM processing flow. We will also touch on how the lunar rover was checked and integrated with the LM. Finally, we will see the LM and CSM come together into a completed spacecraft assembly.

The Apollo 1 mission was also referred to as AS-204. The Apollo 1 spacecraft was damaged in a launch pad accident, but the Saturn IB launch vehicle was undamaged. The Saturn IB retained its official AS-204 designation, and it flew the first LM on what was also referred to the Apollo 5 mission.

Prior to the C2F2, the astronauts conducted a “bench review” with all the items to ensure that they were familiar with how to operate each item.
