Abstract
In some cases, the provision of wrinkle-free metal foil for windows may be needed. A very simple method, related to the differential thermal expansion of metal and Pyrex glass, may be employed to achieve this objective (Holt and Blackmon in Review of Scientific Instruments 51, 671, [1]).
