Abstract
The number of installations of Information Systems is increasing more and more. These systems produce huge amounts of log data. In some cases it is impossible to store all event data in a classical log file, simply for storage limitations. Moreover, while only few processes are in steady-state and, most of the processes, due to changing circumstances, evolve and systems need to be flexible.
