Abstract
Seizures in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Neurologic ICU may be brought about by various etiologies; These may be primarily neurologic or metabolic. Hence, the management of seizures is important and safety of the patients must be ensured as much as possible. Recognition, provision of adequate management, and prevention of status epilepticus and other complications within the intensive care facilities must be well planned and implemented. Construction of protocols, training of medical health professionals, and reliable equipments are among the essential aspects.
