Abstract
Epidural steroid injections can be a part of a comprehensive, multimodal treatment plan for spine-related pain. Interlaminar and caudal approaches to the spine have been used for many years and have a good safety and efficacy profile. Providers should be aware of contraindications, risks, and benefits of these procedures to appropriately refer for or perform these procedures.
