Semi-Analytical Solution for Torsion of a Micropolar Beam of Elliptic Cross Section

Abstract

In this paper we use generalized Fourier series to obtain the solution for a boundary value problem describing the torsion of an elliptic micropolar beam. We provide an example demonstrating the effect of material microstructure.
