Abstract

This chapter compares the findings of the three cases and then draws conclusions based on these comparisons. In this chapter, I will firstly present the three case studies in the context of the reform community, to discuss their agency in relation to the reform in a broader landscape. The second section of the chapter compares the three cases to explore the factors which account for the different nature of agency. Following that I evaluate the limitations of this study. Finally, this chapter concludes with a discussion of the implications of this study for research on teacher education and reform implementation, including the directions for future research.
