Abstract
In [76, 77], Davvaz applied the concept of fuzzy sets to the theory of algebraic hyperstructures and defined fuzzy subhypergroup (respectively, H v -subgroup) of a hypergroup (resp. H v -group) which is a generalization of the concept of Rosenfeld’s fuzzy subgroup of a group. Since the concept of an H v -group is a generalization of a hypergroup, in this chapter, we present basic definitions and results concerning fuzzy H v -subgroups of H v -groups.
