Abstract

In this work, we are interested on the study of the aerodynamic structure around an obstacle with inclined roof for a Reynolds numbers equal to Re=2666. The software “SolidWorks Flow Simulation” has been used to present the local characteristics. The numerical model considered is based on the resolution of the Navier-Stokes equations in conjunction with the standard k-ε turbulence model. These equations were solved by a finite volume discretization method. The numerical model is validated with experimental results conducted on an open wind tunnel.
