Abstract

This chapter will focus on the 2 most common winter sports: alpine skiing and snowboarding. A review of basic normal biomechanics provides background understanding of each sport. Descriptions of the epidemiology, pathomechanics, and imaging findings of sports specific and commonly encountered injuries are provided.
