Abstract
Urban patterns have dramatic influences on wind flow among city area, which have become much more obvious along with the process of urbanization and high density development. While at the same time, the expectation of comfortable living environment and high energy efficiency has emerged and become a general agreement. Under these circumstances, this paper aims to find how urban patterns affect wind flow in city level, based on which several optimizing strategies and estimation of corresponding energy saving has been given thus the objection of comfortable living and reduction of energy use could be achieved at the same time. A case study is also offered to elaborate the whole process.
