Abstract
Within the Major Function Oriented Region Planning, it is required that large-scale and high strength urbanization be limited during the Territorial Development in key Ecological Function Regions(EFR). Therefore, the coordination of harmonious development among urbanization, industrialization and ecology becomes an important issue. This paper studies the representative forest Ecological Function Regions to induce the features of their urbanization, conclude the relevant national policies and basic solutions, and then analyzes their difficulties and prospects in reality. The perspective of giving priority to the urbanization of suburban areas provides the urbanization of above-stated ecological regions with a new thinking.
