Abstract
Copper-free, nonmetallic composites in brake pad application with heat transfer aspect, its braking efficiency on both cold and hot conditions, its exceptional impact on braking effectiveness and squeaks are highlighted. Heat dissipation in inhomogeneous thermodynamic system is explained. An account of ceramic as a superior substitute with data, information on issues of dust generation from rotor are explained.
