Abstract

In quantum mechanics, the wavefunction of the particle, ψ(t, x) contains complete information about the state of the system and satisfies the Schrödinger equation. Given the wavefunction ψ(0,x) at t = 0, we can integrate this equation and obtain the wavefunction at any later time.
