Abstract

Interstellar space in the Milky Way and in other galaxies radiates radio signals generated by cosmic ray electrons spiraling around magnetic field lines of force.Observations of such radio emissions allow the shape of the Galaxy to be derived and details of the center of the Milky Way are vividly revealed.
