Abstract
A blossoming of radio astronomy in China has already led to the construction of a huge 65 m diameter radio telescope and the construction of FAST, an enormous 500 m diameter dish built in a natural geological bowl in underway. Plans for a 110 m fully steerable dish are well in hand.
