Halfway along the path, on the summit between the ascent toward an overview of some of the major dangers of our time, and the descent into the valleys of practical politics to prevent war, we stop for a brief, fundamental reflection. Have we brought order to the chaos of today’s fears? Do the concepts we used in our analysis permit consistent use? Do we understand our own basic concepts?
