Abstract

The Northeast of Thailand had high potentiality to earn revenue from eco-tourism in this region. The existing websites in northeastern Thailand had few ontologies, which helped users to retrieve easily relevant information. The development of ontology was a challenge, as it required identifying appropriate concept and relationship, irrespective of top-down, down-top and combination approaches. The objectives of this study ware to developed ontology by using Recommender Management System for tourism websites. The results showed that using ontologies had better than other websites (not using ontology) which was indicated with the F-measure (95.98 %).
