Abstract
The strategic plan of copper production in Cerovo as part of the Veliki Krivelj mining complex is based on the certified balance sheet of copper ore reserves of over 511 million tons, on the possibility of more ore mining by purchasing new high capacity mining equipment, reconstruction and acquisition of new flotation equipment and the reconstruction of the smelter and construction of a new sulfuric acid plant, which will all provide for a better recovery and environment protection with high-tech environmental standards.
The paper contains a basic concept of mining developed and applied in this region.
