Abstract
Operating parameters of electric motors depend on a type of a magnetic circuit. In this paper, we consider an influence of the type of magnetic circuit on static parameters of switched reluctance motor with power of 450 W. In the research we considered constructions of magnetic circuits made respectively of laminated steel, Fe-based composite and mixed structures. A static electromagnetic torque as function of an angular position of a rotor has been computed based on a finite element method. Experimental measurements have been conducted in order to confirm the result of computations.
