Abstract
Throughout residency and fellowship training, doctors receive an outstanding education in the art and science of medicine or surgery. Your hard work is rewarded with a degree, but unfortunately many physicians have not had the time or resources to get educated in the financial matters that many young doctors face upon graduation. This chapter is a brief description of issues that will be relevant during your residency, fellowship training, and for the many years ahead in practice.
