Abstract
Genetic hypermelanosis includes a wide range of congenital and inherited disorders, whereby the skin lesions indicate an underlying disorder or syndrome. This chapter covers the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, histopathology, differential diagnosis, and treatment of both common and rare genetic hyperpigmentation disorders.
