Abstract

The computational procedure of the HETE code will be developed in this chapter. This procedure has been introduced in several papers among them the ones by Navarro and Cabezas-Gómez (2005), Cabezas-Gómez et al. (ASME J Heat Transf 129:282–290, 2007) and Navarro et al. (2010). It constitutes a useful numerical methodology for computing the thermal performance parameters for, among other, cross-flow heat exchangers with diverse flow arrangements.
