Abstract

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common liver cancer. Globally, around 600,000 new cases appear each year. In this book, we discuss the etiology, pathophysiology, and current diagnostic options for HCC. We will also cover molecular mechanisms, animal models of research, and emerging novel therapeutic options such as microRNA and stem cell therapies.
