Abstract
The first part of this chapter presents the rationale for and the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork in the context of a special education school. Based on the overview provided, the researcher offers a definition of interdisciplinary teamwork in special education schools. The second part of this chapter focuses on the importance of language and discourse in the work of interdisciplinary teams.
