Abstract
Econophysics, after being institutionalized in 1995 has certainly made some impact in the field of social as well as natural science. Many scientists are now interested to work in this field. Some Universities have started courses on Econophysics. Research work is going on in many institutes of repute. Both Physics and Economics based journals are publishing papers on Econophysics. Many books have been written. There is also a lot of media attention on the emergence of this new branch of science. I had asked some questions to the pioneers and people who are instrumental to bring Econophysics up to the level now it has come. Their reactions to the questions have been presented in this article.
