The Unhappy Total Knee Replacement

Abstract

A 79-year-old man presented with bilateral progressive weight-bearing knee pain, more on the right side than on the left. He had previously undergone a total hip arthroplasty 12 months ago. The patient complained about a limited quality of life in his daily activities. Clinical examination showed medial joint line tenderness in a varus-deformed knee joint.
