Abstract

A 52-year-old woman underwent a patellofemoral joint replacement (PFJ). Due to persisting pain and stiffness after PFJ, a total knee replacement (Emotion, Aesculap, B. Braun Medical AG, Sempach, Switzerland) was implanted 18 months after PFJ. The patient presented to our clinic 11 months after primary TKR due to still persistent knee pain and stiffness.
