Abstract
The paper defines the following temperature propagation parameters in biological media:
-
a) Time constants (T1) and (T2), for example in seconds [s].
-
b) Space constants (S1) and (S2), for example in [mm].
The objective is the approximation of these structure parameters from measurements of expert type. For the data we obtained we elaborated and used a dedicated program CTISP01(02). This program is based on numerical solving of two transcendental equations, in relation to both the propagation time (t) and space (s); it assures a large diversity of results for (T1, T2 , S1, S2 ), with controlled approximation errors. As propagation media we considered representative samples made of skin, fat, muscle, bone, tooth and steel.
