Abstract
When the LEED Platinum rated Centre for Sustainable Development was completed in October 2011, its impressive list of attributes did not include a car park. A $27 million, downtown Montreal, commercial property would normally be required by law to provide spaces for parking cars, However, we are informed that in this case a consent was sought from the city to eliminate the statutory parking allocation from the project.
