Abstract

The monitoring of transformers ensures the continuity of their operation. The diagnosis of the insulating oil is an effective method of preventing malfunctions and avoids them. This work involves the adaptation of two swarm intelligence metaheuristics: ant colony optimization and bee colony optimization in the diagnosis of transformer oil. A method of hybridization of the two approaches is proposed. The comparison of the three algorithms shows that the hybrid algorithm yields better results.
