Abstract
Ethical principles are essential for developing a sustainable success at the business level as well as at the individual level. This applies to all professions including maintenance engineering. Unethical acts in maintenance can lead to disastrous incidents and develops an unhealthy working environment. Professional organizations put in place codes of ethics that should be followed by all members of the professions. In this chapter, ethical issues, concerns, and codes of conducts related to the maintenance profession are discussed.
