Abstract
Albert Schweitzer once said, “In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.” This quote most succinctly captures the message I am hoping to share. I believe all that has been accomplished in my life can be attributed to traits I have learned from one or more persons I have had the privilege of meeting and working with, and what I hope to accomplish is to layout some of the key lessons learned through my encounters with some of these people. I am proud of the different roles I have held over the years, and look forward to the additional ones ahead, but for me the greatest title I hold is “Mom.”
