Modeling Dynamic Biological Systems

Part of the book series: Modeling Dynamic Systems ((MDS))

Abstract

In this chapter we model the thermo-regulatory process of a bat akin to an objects of a particular temperature, surrounded by a cooler environment, to which it tends to lose heat. But unlike the standard approach to modeling heat loss, we allow for dynamic adjustments of the cooling rate.
