Abstract

In this chapter, impedance-based field measurements carried out on the Anholt cable are described. The task is to examine whether the most advanced cable models of today can be used to predict the fault loop impedance of various fault types is such a way that generic algorithms can be trained to estimate the fault location on crossbonded cables with good accuracy.
