Abstract
The basic steps to produce an optical metamaterial from block copolymer self-assembly can be summarized in the following: (a) self-assembly of gyroid block copolymer in thin films; (b) selective degradation and removal of one of the minor phases; (c) back filling of the so created nanoporous template via electrodeposition; (d) removal of the remaining polymer template.
