Abstract

Once we have defined a taxonomy for distributed context-aware systems (in the previous chapter), we analyze some of the most relevant systems in this area, providing an overview of their functionalities and architecture and classifying them according to the previously described taxonomy. The chapter concludes with a table that summarizes, for each described system, the solution used regarding each layer (capture, infer, distribute, and consume).
