Abstract
The use of research and evidence at the state and national levels varies considerably based on the stage of the policymaking process, the level of the educational governance system, and the availability of relevant research. The chapters presented in this section begin to build an evidence base that could inform future research supply. This chapter argues that in order to enhance the use of research and evidence in the policymaking process, research must be created through partnerships, conducted on relevant topics, and presented in usable forms.
