Abstract
This chapter includes simulation–optimization analysis of water supply in central Florida using integrated surface and groundwater modeling to allocate groundwater pumping that is protective of the natural ecosystem while meeting water supply demands of over 2 million people using a mix of surface water, groundwater and desalinated water.
