Abstract
When, in buying and selling, it is asked about something ‘what is its price?’, you will do the following. Multiply the middle (term) by the last and divide the product by the first; the result will be what is required. Or divide the middle by the first and multiply the result by the last. Or divide the last by the first and multiply the result by the middle. In all these ways is found the unknown which is required.
