Abstract

Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder in women is a frequent complaint in gynaecological consultations. It is recognised as a disease entity in the context of sexual health. A biopsychosocial approach to the diagnosis and treatment is necessary to respond to the multidimensional aetiology of the disorder and the possible therapeutic approaches.

This is a shortened and adapted version of a publication in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
