Abstract

In this chapter we solve Maxwell’s equations in some particular situations. They correspond to special geometries and assumptions on the time dependence of charges and currents. Thus, we consider classical examples in electrostatics and magnetostatics. By choosing suitable sets Ω and Γ in the integral form of Maxwell’s equations we will be able to obtain the electromagnetic fields.
