Abstract

Design of peak detectors is done with help of numerical solver, however, preliminary calculations can be done using approximative model. In order to design peak detector whose operation becomes close to the circuit model based on ideal diode, in realistic peak detector it is common to use active diode circuit instead of a single diode.
