Abstract
When developing software systems a rich interface for a client may have many methods providing a semantically rich set of operations that can be invoked. In general this is thought of as providing the client with an easier to use and more expressive interface. However, a thinner interface, with fewer operations is easier to implement and to maintain and may be consider the preferable solution for a development team.
