Abstract

Accurate control of the temperature is essential in many modern applications like: medical devices, industrial plants, cars, office equipment’s etc. The demands of high performances implies the use of new approaches in the designing process, which allow a better understanding of the design system and the development of more complex control strategies. In the paper is presented a new approach for modeling a thermotronic system using a gray-box modeling technique. The obtained model is used to develop a closed loop control strategy using MATLAB/Simulink environment. The simulation results are validated using dSPACE dS1104 platform. Finally, both simulation and experimental results are presented and discussed.
