Abstract
In February 2006 three Moroccans in Oslo were struck down, Structural conditions and the norms that are connected to them may have psychological consequences because they define and direct which standards should apply in which contexts. It would be inappropriate if a robber in a robbery situation began to show sorrow, pain or empathy or started crying when he discovers that the victim is frightened and desperate. The optimal would be that he showed anger and dominance such that the victims were so afraid that they turned over their belongings.
