Designing of Dynamic Neural Networks

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Studies in Computational Intelligence ((SCI,volume 510))

Abstract

The most crucial challenge which should be undertaken by engineers who supervise various technical systems is to design a mathematical model describing the system behaviour. The scope of applications of mathematical models in the contemporary industrial systems is extremely broad and includes the FDI [1, 3, 4, 5, 6] and Fault-Tolerant Control (FTC) [63, 64, 65, 66, 67] among others. In the case of a non-linear dynamic system identification the ANNs are often applied [25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 52, 68].
